I currently run NX6 (3D modeling, drafting & MFG programming), I have NX7 & NX7.5 sitting on the shelf, I don't like skipping versions since I did that once before and regretted it. Normally when I'm too busy I won't upgrade but, I now have some time to make the switch . . . should I go straight to 7.5 or get familiar with 7 first? Is there a big change?

Skip 7 and go to the latest MR of 7.5.
No sense updating your stuff to 7, just to do it again to 7.5.

Trust me, there is NO reason in the world WHY you would WANT to install NX 7.0 if you are able to install NX 7.5 instead!!!!

There is nothing in NX 7.0 which will help you to better implement NX 7.5 if you're coming from NX 6.0 (or any other release for that matter). Besides, NX 7.0 has already been moved to a 'maintenance only' status, which means that unless it's a 'show-stopper' bug, any PR which you submit against NX 7.0 would have to be fixed in NX 7.5 anyway.
