Hello,
I would like some clarification on the design of a riser to a junction box.
Should be pretty simple, but this riser I need to analysis is 36' long underground and I know you will need to consider pressure from the soil and live load at the top of the riser.
For my calculations, if I am doing it correctly. Results in large loads that gives me trouble using houston standard design for risers.
any information will help.
Thanks

Are you talking about round risers? You don't design it. You just follow ASTM standard reinforcement I believe.
