JWE0019i-u Error

Hi all,
I am currently working on a SAP model of a steel bridge. I've finished my initial layout and was attempting to run the model using simply the modal analysis and the gravity selfweight. However, when I attempt to run the analysis, I get a "jwe0019i-u The program was terminated abnormally with Exception Code EXCEPTION_ACCESS-VIOLATION." error after the program calculates the number of equilibrium equations and number of non-zero terms.

I have tried analyzing other models, and they run with no problems. I have no clue where to start looking in my model for errors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your model is complex, there will be items not well joined, though they appear joined with your naked eyes. That is often the reason for the error you mentioned.

Yours is a runtime error tough to handle.

When doing complex models, I stop every now and then and run the incomplete model before continuing.

The culprit is often a few bad nodes and restraints.

Check your elements and nodes closely. Remove some elements and re-run.
