Hi Guys,

I am trying to keep a seat of Master Series 11 alive and running so we can keep old product alive while we hire people to remodel in Solid Works.
It is getting harder and harder. IT department needs to upgrade the server to Windows Server 2012. Does anyone know if it will run on this OS?
Is there ant resources I can tap into to try and keep this alive?
I'm also looking for a complete sets of installation disks for MS11, can't seems to find mine anywhere!!

There must be others out there in the same boat, let's share stories.

Thanks,

Dave Stevens

I "keep alive" EDS I-DEAS Master Series 11 with Microsoft Virtual PC plus XP Mode, on a notebook with Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Try it.

I'm keeping five seats if I-Deas 12 NX alive. Windows 7 PCs with VirtualBox running XP SP3. It works if you can get the networking correct. License server is on 11 year old Pentium class server running XP on separate network. Just had one seat crash and looking for solution on this site. Converting files for use in Inventor, but will still need to keep seats alive for several more years.
