Known CATIA V5 R24 problems with working with STL files?

We received a R24 update recently and I am noticing bugs when working with STL files I didn't see in R19. For example when I try to repair the mesh using the "fill holes" command either nothing happens or the "mesh" tool pallet disappears. Anyone else having problems with R24?
