Hello everyone
I just need a expert opinion regarding pump selection

System requirement
Application: Water supply to the dyeing and washing machines in Laundry
Pressure requirement = 3 bar constant pressure in the loop.
Water level = 30 ft

How should I choose between a KSB water turbine and a Grundfos submersible pump for a project requiring a 40-meter head? KSB offers an efficiency of 83% with a rated head of 47m, while Grundfos provides 74% efficiency with a rated head of 44.5m. Both pumps have a rated flow of 2 cusec and rated power of 37 KW. The power absorbed for KSB is 31.5 KW while it is 31.6 KW for Grundfos. Considering technical aspects only, which pump would be the most suitable choice for this application, disregarding CAPEX? Additionally, is consider absorbed power right for calculating the annual power consumption for comparison, or should I go with other power?.

Chose the one that makes for the simplest installation.
Vertical turbine pumps are great when the water's surface is lower than your pump and motor platform, as when pumping from a pool or well and you do not want a submersible unit. If your water tank or supply outlet is at or above pump level, a horizontal pump will probably be most convenient.

Grundflows also have vertical pumps.

We can't say based off your description.

10m water depth is not really relevant. what is the min / max water level is what you need to know.

Submersibles nnormally sit on the bottom so you need to have relatively clean water / clean bottom?

First you need to define what aspects to consider in "most suitable".

Otherwise this is like saying which girl or boy should I take to dinner?

Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

Don't know why you would be looking at submersible pumps as they require more maintenance than other pump types. Have you looked into the grundfos booster pumps?
