I'm doing an evaluation of an existing wastewater treatment lagoon. The liner is visibally torn above the water line so I'm going to recommend and budget replacement. What type of material would you use? THe state regs just say minimim 60 mil thickness.

Thanks,

Mike

the State is probably assuming you'd use HDPE as it is fairly commonly used. You could also consider PVC, but you may have problems finding installers.

You may wish to investigate how the current liner was damaged. If it is due to UV dedregidation, you may wish to also cover the liner with a geofabric covered with rip-rap.

I thought a lagoon liner was a 12 foor rowboat.
