Land Desktop Survey 2004 users guide 1

I am looking for a good supplemental book for Land Desktop 04 and survey 04. The ones that came with my software are not much help in upgrading from my Acad 2002. Are the Cogo functions as cumbersome as they appear to be? Any and all help would be great. Thanks.

The Cogo functions in Land Desktop 2004 are cumbersome.The more you continue to use the Cogo functions, the less burdensome they appear. I know of no supplemental training manuals for Desktop or Survey.

I used the following book several years ago to learn SoftDesk (now called LDD). You might get good ideas & concepts from it. It had a pretty good chapter to help understand data collector coding. Softdesk Civil : Using the Power of Softdesk (Paperback, 1997)
