Our company is looking into replacing our outdated plotter, and while we don't use it a lot, it has definitely covered the ROI multiple times.

We typically print 24" or 36" wide, so wouldn't want to go below a 36" roll feed. Don't do hundreds of prints a month, but (if we had a more reliable plotter) would probably be in the neighborhood of a couple dozen, plus odd full scale prints (i.e. 36" x 8')

Any recommendations? Almost all the threads I was able to find are old enough that some of the machines aren't even available.

We recently replaced an HP 500 series 24" ink-jet plotter that was at least 8 years old with a new 600 series (630 I think) 24" wide plotter. Not sure about longevity, but we've been quite happy with it so far. I think they make a 36" wide version. It was surprisingly inexpensive too (less than $1,500 i think).
