Laser Marking

Hi,

I need a machine to measure a particular dimension and mark a corresponding number on the component according to the dimension measured. There are 33 variants of identification numbers possible based on the dimension measured.

Can you suggest such kind of a simple machine which would do measurement as well as the Laser Marking?

With out knowing the size of part and resolution of measure it is hard to know what is required to measure. The volume of parts and method of handling will also effect choice.

The component is an Engine Tappet, with an OD of 30mm. Its just like a cup and the top face of the cup needs the Surface finish reqt of 0.1Ra. The volumes are 3~4 Millions/annum. Some amount of automation, if not fully is acceptable.
