I need a suggestion for a laser resistant material. It is for a CO2 laser, 3200 watts, beam length is 10.6 micrometers. Any viable suggestions? Thanks!

It depends on what you call laser resistant! What is it you want to achieve? Copper is highly reflective to CO2 wavelength, although it will heat up quickly it is able to maintain integrity because its thermal conductivity is high, thats why we use it for cutting and welding nozzles, Just try to cut a piece of copper plate at 3kW!! Some ceramics are very good at dissipating the heat energy without the reflection problem from materials like copper. Ceramics are sometimes used as a laser proof insulator between copper micro nozzles and the cutting head.
