Hello, we own a bystar4020 and we found out that the laserview system stores csv files. The names are :
- LaserSt - - LaserAo - - LaserBs - - LaserView - We would like to know what is the data inside them. There is a date, time and bits state, but we don't know what those means. We would like to use this data to do productivity evaluation. The Laserview Version is P8806.

Thanks!

Because the file doesn't update automatically.

Yeah the problem is that they don't know either and the version is not supported anymore as I can see.

I don't get what you were saying about the updates, since I see date codes from December 18 of 2020 9 entries at different times. and that only leaves trying to correlate the times with the two flags in LaserAo.csv.

LaserBs appears to be counting a bunch of things
LaserView is a log file, presumably of things that happened on the machine, 69 of them on 1/29/2021, and so forth.

CSVs are typically serve as log files or intermediary processing files. Looking at your files, log is obviously a log file whereas the other 2 seem like they might be intermediary job files. By intermediary job files, I mean that when you load a job into the CNC PC and hit the start button, it converts the controller code into a CSV and then transfers that data over to the actually hardware controller. Then, a 2nd CSV file might be used as a job log for actually tracking how much of the CNC code sent to the controller has been processed. Something like this could be useful if the job fails, power outage, etc.

Thank you for your answer. Since Bystronic don't return our calls, your answer is the most developed at this time.

Those are log files for your resonator history, I looked at the documentation that I have and if you have those 4 files you can recreate/upgrade your laserview install on the PC without loosing information on the hours on your turbo and output window etc, and error logs. You have to only set the com port manually after dropping these files into any laserview install.

Do you know if there is a file that describe the IO state of the shutter? We would like to evaluate the time we spend cutting vs the time we spend waiting per job.

Thanks a lot!

the shutter open timer is usually in the cnc on a bystronic, not the laser. Look for another hour meter in the cnc cabinet. The shutter itself has 24 volt switches, if you tie into that for a timer, be real careful about altering the failure mode of the circuit.
