Can someone explain the leading edge and trailing edge in referece to Programmable, single mode internal mode timers?

Sorry! Mistake. Suppose to be: sinle mode, Interval mode timer.

Single generally means it will count down and do something. Unless something else is done, like restarting it nothing more will happen.

Interval means it counts down then does something, then starts over automatically.

Leading edge means the timer starts when the signal is low then becomes high.

Trailing edge means the timer starts when the signal is high then goes low
