Hi I'm aware of Lean Manufacturing and its tools but has anyone participated or used Lean Design?

What tools or practises did you use?

I/m not sure what Lean Design is but if it involved the practice of DFMA (design for manufacturing & assembly) contact these guys for a system to get you going.

This is a pretty good toolbox of useful ideas and tools used in "Lean Product Development". We have implemented some of these in my corporation and they work. Being in the manufacturing environment it is amazing how much waste management wants to trim at our level when in fact most of the waste is created in the design process itself.
