Hello,

we are planning to replace an old transmitter by another one smart transmitter using differential pressure technology. the service conditions are:
- fluid: heavy fuel oil
- service temperature: 350 °C
- service pressure: max 2 bar

I am wondering if smart transmitters could work under these conditions ?

please do not hesitate to commincate your suggestions.

Thank you.

The brains of your transmitter will not be exposed to these conditions, so its intelligence is completely irrelevant.

Thank you Compositero for your answer, do you think that I can use Rosmount 3051 ERS or E+H deltabar fmd 72 differential prressure transmitter ?

Better to have the impulse lines to this dp cell sealed off with diaphragm seals in this fouling service fluid at column bottoms.

Thank you georgeverghse for your answer. In fact, we use the technology of impulse line in vessels and we were thinking to do the same in the column.

Yesterday, a Siemens partner propose to use capillary diaphragm seals.
