Anyone here actually used it?

I'd like to get it setup so I can take Pro home with me on my laptop. Just thought I'd see if anyone had tried yet, and get some pointers.

Guess, I'll try PTC's site to see how to go about this. My main question at the moment is how to install pro/e on the machine I want to borrow the license for (my laptop)...

Do a full install on the laptop while connected to the network where the license file sits.
Then run a utility, license_borrow.bat, I think, on the laptop.
Disconnect the laptop an fire up Wildfire.

We often use license borrowing at our company.

To install Wildfire:-

Connect laptop to network.
Ensure that the License Server on the host computer is active.
Find the name of the host using the License Server Tools, 5th tab -> Perform Status Enquiry (it will be something like 7788@robert).
Install Wildfire on the laptop. When prompted for the license server, use the host name you found.

To borrow license:-

Run PROE_BORROW.bat (can be found in {install-directory}\bin.
Enter the number of days you want to borrow the license for (note that 0 days will be sufficient to borrow it overnight) - you can have up to 5 days without adding an environmental variable (see below).
Click OK & Wildfire will be booted up.
Disconnect from the network & you're finished.

To increase the number of days to 10:-

On the laptop go to Control Panel -> System.
Under the Advanced tab, click Environmental Variables.
Create a new variable with the name LM_BORROW_DURATION, and the Value of 10.
You can now borrow up to 10 days.

Thanks guys!

I'm hoping to give it a try this week...
