I'm looking for ideas on how to bypass the main lift station that located is right before the inlet of our wastewater treatment plant (see picture). It's a small plant - about 21,000 gpd. There are three inlets on the lift station. I can plug two of the inlets and take the buildings out of service while the rehab project takes place, but there is an upstream lift station that is located 2,500 ft away and it supplies most of of the flow. I received a quote for temporary bypass piping to send the sewage directly into the plant ,but it was ~$30,000.
I hope this makes sense.

Where/How is the upstream lift station connected?
Which inlets can you take out of comission for the refurbishment works?
Could you (temporary) route the force inlets directly into the WWTP?
