Lifter question

Hello, just new in molding, can we put lifter on the cavity side. Please see attached.

Yes it is possible, but if you put the undercut on the moving half, it guarantees the part stays on the moving half until ejected.

Thanks Patprimmer. I can't figure out putting the undercut on the moving half, are you refering to the tool? Any ways thanks once again.

Yes.

The moving half bolts to the moving plattern.

The fixed half bolts to the fixed plattern.

The ejection normally operates on the moving half as that is where the hydraulic cylinders normally are.

The part has to be pulled of the moving half as the mould opens as it must then be ejected from the mould.

This is really basic level stuff, like first year apprentice level.
