ligaments effiency calculation

SEC VIII UG-53 gives formulas to calculate ligament effiency if the opening are in circular shape.
can any one help, if the opening is of square or rectangle shape. how to calculate the ligamnet efficiency.

How many holes do you have? What is the size of shell and holes?

complete sheet is with staggered or straight square opening.
this is perforated metal.

this is to calculate burst pressure for filtration screen in Strainer.

square opening may be 0.04" to 0.25"
see atatched pic for perforation look
