I'm testing a little with nx7.5.1
I have started to load an assembly leightweight contolled from the load option. For navigation I'm often using mark the component in the graphic area and use find in navigator from the selection toolbar. On leightweight data it doesn't work. I want to place the wcs at one of the edge ends of a component- nothing to select/find from the point constructor. Measuring works nice. Is there a setting or something else to know?

There are still selection issues being worked out when dealing with Lightweight representations, but to get the maximum capability available today, make sure that you go to...

Customer Defaults -> Assemblies -> Site Standards -> Lightweight Representations

...and that the last item on that page, 'Load Smart Lightweight Data' is toggled ON.

thankx John,
maybe I have to recreate the lightweight REps, its a nx6 assy.
another question, in nx7.5 when I add for example the second time (redundant)a fix constraint on a component an message is displayed- in nx6 and nx7 I like to have this Information, too. Is there a setting or something else?
regards

I suggest that you update your legacy (parts not created in NX 7.5) files using the 'refile_part' utility and setting the options so as to get the maximum benefit from the new lightweight representations. I've attached a word document which shows all the command line options when using the 'refile' utility (the relevant options are near the end of the list).
