Limitation of Sap2000

Hi guys, I am working on dissertation of seismic design and nonlinear time history analysis of 2 RC storey building. And I have this direction on explaining the limitation on SAP2000 as it can not show brittle failure, and thus, to discuss the potential improvements such as modifying the properties of material. However, I did not manage to get useful resource or journal that discuss such topic. Can anyone recommend resource that might help? Thank you.

I too am starting to look into this for my company. Have you managed to source any resources or journal papers on this topic. I am primarily interested in the assessment of existing concrete and masonry wall buildings.
