Limitations to shrinking power supplies and miniaturization of magnetic components

Hello all!
I recently moved to Silicon Valley area and looking for a conference to give a talk titled:
"Limitations to shrinking power supplies and miniaturization of magnetic components"
Which is targeting EE professionals, not necessarily within the power electronics community.

Besides big conferences, any idea what professional groups might be suitable/interested? any suggestions or offers are welcome! please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks Kenat - mostly a talk. I think if I had the bandwidth to write it down it'd become a chapter in a book. I'm better at giving talks. What were you thinking of?

I would be interested. I might even go. (I work for a SJ-based PD firm and come into town about once a month.)

Something I noticed after having left and returned to the Silicon Valley scene:
15 years ago, component sizes were shrinking faster than expectations, so it was easier to get a product size down.

Now it seems that expectations for component size reduction have exceeded industry's ability to reduce sizes. Clients are proposing designs that are too small to fit all the widgets.

You're right, and not only components size reduction becomes harder, there are real limitations when we go very small (even before we hit hard limits).
Seems like many professionals know how to discuss silicon downsizing, and I had the opportunity to work with extremely small magnetic components, which is something rarely anyone ever considers..
anyhow, I want to share that knowledge. I will certainly keep you updated when I find the forum for my talk. thanks for the insight!
