Hi All,

Is there any standard (preferably ISO) which says what line color should be for the following in a .dwg drawing, thanks in advance.

Dimensions
Text (i think it is cyan)
Equipment
Existing item/equipment/structure

IMO, in the CAD drawings the typical colors of the text and lines are recommended in the software application and used as a default color codes. If required, the users may modify or define other colors for the specific needs.

Having never encountered this (but with my mechanical-design autocad work pre-dating publication of this standard), I took a look at the Wikipedia page for ISO 13857, and it seems that this is oriented very strongly towards building-construction applications as opposed to mechanical design.
