I'm doing some design checks of a building. Designer has placed a brick wall on the un-supported edge of a one way slab. Slab thickness is 115mm while the span is approximately 2800mm. Reinforcement is BRC mesh. From the past experience I know that this results an unnecessary deflection on edge of the slab.

My problem is how to prove this fact with help of calculations.
