Hi,
I can't figure out an easy way to scale a line in paper space to appear the same as it does in model space. I have a dashed line in model space and when I go to paper space the line is just a solid line rather than dashed due to the different scaling of the drawing. The model space drawing is true size and the paper space drawing is 1"=100'. The drawing is in a viewport in paper space. The property of the line in paper space is at a scale of 1. I had to change the scale by trial and error until the line showed up as a dashed line in paper space which then made the line in model space solid. How do I make the line appear as it does in model space without having to do all this scaling?
Thanking you in advance.

hello,
goto menu format/linetype/ dialogue box, click show details (if details at bottom of box arec not shown) then simply untick the box that says 'use paper space units for scaling' - but dont forget to to do a view/regenall (if in paper space) so you can see the effect. if unticked the linetype is not scaled up by dwg scale (hence not seeing it cos the gaps are 50times smaller (or whatever is the dwg scale)). hope this helps.

When you are in layout and select ms in the status bar change you ltscale from a scale factor of one (1) to 1200.

Thank you for everyones help.
