I was wondering if anyone knew how to or where I can go to learn more about sizing refrigerant lines for a refrigeration system using multiple evaporators and an EPR valve. (Upstream Pressure Regulating Valve) I have a system using 134a with one compressor connected to a chill box AND a freeze box. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Trane has a pretty good manual on refrigerant pipe sizing. ASHRAE Fundamentals Handbook is a good source for pipe sizing and their Refrigeration Handbook has some good data on proper piping layout.

Yorkman,

This is zillionth time you recommending Trane technical books and do it one more time, you will be snapped with contempt of job(more specifically organization)[poke].

I think you are damn confident about your boss not visiting this site[wink]

Sorry I thought it was a good manual, hope that using a manufactures name did not break the rules![blush] Actually I like the ASHRAE Handbook series better but it seems a lot of people don't keep those in their library. Maybe I need to improve my resourse library[smarty]
