I am looking for a linear displancement sensor to sense the displacement of a linear actuator. The idea is to make the actuator close loop controlled. Could any one point me to some such sensor makers?

Desired Spec

Volume < 1''X1''
Sensing technoledge: any
working temperature : -0 - 250F
sensing distance : >1''
Output : Volt, Amp, or Freq

Thanks in advance,

Hey Eric,
I specialize in high precision/high accuracy measurement. Sounds like you need an LK-G32/G37 or higher depending on what stand off distance you want. My only concern is the high temp of 250F...maybe we can combat that with distance away from the target and some shielding/air. I work for Keyence. If you have any sensor or measurement questions, give me a call at (888) KEYENCE ex 82712. You can check out all the spec's/applications on
Hope this helps,
Jeff
