Linked sketch "warning"

I have a linked sketch that has been heavily edited in the parent file and as a result in the linked file the feature now as an exclamation point and the message "Linked String/sketch topology has changed, subsequent features may be affected."

I've checked and corrected said features but the warning persists and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. I don't want downstream users have to guess if this is still an issue or not.

Is there a way to clear the warning?

never mind reselecting the sketch clears it.
