Linkspan Design

Hi guys

Not sure if this is the right forum if I should be in mechanical section instead but I was just wondering if anybody knows any good websites or texts that deal primarily with linkspan design? In particular regarding Roll on roll off designs for ferries etc?

I understand that it integrates a number of different disciplines such as mechanical electrical and hydraulic etc but was just wondering if there is a place where I could start. I could only find marine consulting companies websites.
