Hi all

My requirement is to eject liquid water from a vessel at 0.1 bar. Now this is not hard...with many pumps being sold that will accomplish this.

The problem is it is very much a lab scale operation and i only have to remove about 1-2 litres an hour. I would ideally like to have a pump that i can have come on every 5 minutes or so. Any ideas as to firms i can contact that have pumps that will do this, in the capacity range i have.

Or do you have some ingenious way to do this. A water column type principle seems a good idea except the part that i need 9 m to generate the 0.9 bar underpressure. Mercury would of course be a whole lots easier but then i still have to purify the water so this is not an option.

I can't change the conditions to avoid the formation of water...

Any advice would be much appreciated
