Are there liquids who turn solid when heaten?

Thermodynamicly speaking, as a pure liquid is heated eventualy, will become vapor, not solid.

But if your liquid, within the heating process, degrades, reacts, cracks, etc., may form solid particles that will remain after all liquid is vaporized.

Do you know a process or a product which makes solid particale out of a liquid when heated. This heating would be happening with a grid. The liquid would be spot heated.

The purpose is the at te spot where the liquid is heated, a solid particle should devolop and stay till the grid went true the hol basin or cup of that liquid.

Lantyr, There are certain classes of polymers that will solidify (polymerize)when heated, these are known as "thermoset resins". One that comes to mind is Polyester Resin. As for a product, try fiberglass ladders or any of the other products made from thermosetting resins.
