Hello,
Does anyone know where I can find a complete and updated litterature about aeronautical rivets, screws, bolts ... ?
(reference, dimensions , material ....)
Thank in advance
The most current information is through the SAE website.
Most of the AN/MS/NAS standard Hardware is being shifted over to the new standards. A good source would be a distributor of Hardware like the old Van Dusen catalogs.
To buy specs check out organizations like "Document Engineering" in Van Nuys CA. They sell the individual specs and the complete document sets for The major spec producers. There is a lot of information out there but sometimes its hard to get up to date data. These companies specialize in this stuff so they are usually up to speed.
You might also try the EAA. They have books and pubs available that covers a lot of this info for the most popular hardware.
SAE has the answers, doles them out in teeny tiny info bits and charges too much for too little. My direct experience is that a confused fasteners standards situation is only being aggravated.
