Load by fire pipe

Hi

I try to calculate a steel structure, but I need the load by fire pipe, sprinklers ... you know an approximate load to calculate? and those dead are live or dead?

Usually this sort of minor services loading is simply covered by a uniformly distributed superimposed dead load. This, load is intended to cover permanent non structural elements, such as ceilings, floor coverings, partitions, services (hvac, fire sprinklers, electrical cable trays), etc.

This will be unique for each project and could generally vary from 0.25kPa to 2kPa depending on requirements.

Only larger loads not covered by this general case would require specific loads to be considered, for example a 50mm diameter sprinkler pipe would most likely be covered by the allowance, but a 500mm pipe might need specific consideration of the loads it imparts on the supporting structure.
