I am using the Mantracourt DSCUSB USB to strain gauge converter which uses ASCII language. It allows me to use a conventional S-shaped load cell and analyze it on my laptop. However, the software that comes with the device is crap. It will only allow me to sample the load cell at 100Hz. The DSCUSB conditioner has the ability to sample the load cell at 500Hz, so I need some software that can analyze the load cell that fast. Can I get a recommendation for any load cell acquisition software? The only thing I can find is LoadVUE, which costs $400, yea, that's more expensive than the load cell.

So, why not ask the supplier?

How about using something like labview and skip the ASCII converter, just take the output straight into a mV input card.
