Hi all
Can anybody please give me idea how the loads are distributed on Beams and Support rings inside the reactor.
For example
Total load including catalyst is 25 psi and man weight of 200 lbs as concentrated load. Neglect pressure drop. Two I beams at 2 feet each other distance being attached to vessel wall by bolts and clips and bottom flange flushed with support ring (width = 3" say). All I need to know the how these loads are distributed on each of the beams and support ring. Thanks
