I am looking for a method to use a Windows environment variable in the defintion of a search path in the load_options.def file. Each user has their own WIP sub-folder, but we use a common load_options.def file. Can the USERNAME environment variable be used when defining the search path folders?
LoadOptions_SearchPaths: J:\\Engcad\\Sdata\\WIP\\BenLoosli J:\\Engcad\\Sdata\\WIP...
This would search my folder first then others in WIP.
But I don't want it hardcoded, I want:
LoadOptions_SearchPaths: J:\\Engcad\\Sdata\\WIP\\&USERNAME J:\\Engcad\\Sdata\\WIP...

If anyone has a suggestion, I'd love to hear it.

The information is in the ugii_env.dat file

# There is now an environment variable, UGII_ENV_FILE, that can be used to locate this file.

Running cad straight out of the box is OK but, a system tuned with application software is the best way to increase productivity.

I solved it with network drive mappings on QS base -
