Does anyone have a load-span table for 38mm (1 1/2") wood roof plank decking, random length continuous with SPF wood? I can't seem to find anything for 38mm, all the tables I've found start at 51mm (2").

I have a building with plank decking spanning 6 ft between steel beams. 1 1/2" seems a little on the thin side, but my experience in wood is limited.

Thanks.

Actually, one thing I should clarify is that the original design drawings indicated 38mm wood decking. I'm curious if this 38mm is the REAL thickness, and not the nominal thickness. For comparison, most 2" wood decks are actually 1 7/16", correct? Perhaps they specified 38mm as the real thickness, and it's a 2" nominal deck?

Agree with dikk. Same as 2", 3", or 4" decking - Nominal thicknesses for 1.5", 2.5" and 3.5" actual thicknesses.
