Hi.
I'm an FEA beginner (Autodesk Nastran InCAD) and I cant seem to wrap my head around "Load until solver failure". This appears on an old report from a retired employee and no current employee seems to know. The part is loaded till the "solver fails", in order to estimate the ultimate stresses. The application is a bracket for a carabiner rated at 1800 lbf. Any clue on loading till solver failure?
