Is it possible in a SolidWorks Drawing to lock a revision table? I know it's very possible to lock a Bill of Materials - maybe a macro to lock multiple tables?

The company I'm with currently uses Excel-based tables - this might be part of the problem.

Have you set the Anchor Point in the Edit Sheet Format mode, and the Excel BOM option to Use table anchor point?

Yes - to the Excel BOM option - but I don't have a similar option for my revision table.

Sorry, my remaining two brain cells got stuck on the BOM after seeing it in your post.

You are correct, Excel revision tables do not have that option.

Have you tried the SW Rev and BOM tables recently? You (or the company) may be pleasantly surprised. The SW BOM now has a lot more Excel functionality.

CBL - you're 'preaching to the choir' bud. I know (from my last company - and messing around on my own) - that both the SW rev table, and the SW BOM are definitely the way to go.

[Also, experience tells me that you mix applications {in this case SW and Excel} only as a last resort.]

Agree with CBL - The SW rev table is very good - automatic incrementing of the rev block is a nice feature if you link it to the Revision custom property.
