Lock-up/workstation Freeze on Rotate

Has anyone experienced a system Lock-up while rotating an Assembly model? I have experienced this problem in V6 and V7, on 2 different workstations. 1 Dell workstation running windows 2000, w/ Wildcat 4110, 1 Dell workstation running XP Pro with Wildcat 4 7110. Any suggestions for fixing the problem?

just try different video drivers... hopefully you'll find one that does the trick. inventor much prefers nvidia cards, but you should be able to get it going with what you've got...
