I am looking for a hinge with a locking mechanism. Web searches have given me a couple of results including stuff on Guden and McMaster however they were too big for the application.

The hinge will be inside a sheetmetal cabinet(made out of 0.063" 6061-T6, dimensions 20wd. x 15ht. x 5dp.) and will be opening an access panel.

If anyone has any direction or knows of a company that specializes in hinges I would appreciate it.

If by "locking mechanism" you mean to hold the panel open, we use detent hinges from Southco and they're quite small:

Try Southco they have some good down loads of parts.
