I'm looking for a pump to move swimming pool water through a 4'x20' solar panel located 30' away and 30' above the pool. The pump will be 2 feet away and less than a foot above the pool. I've plumbed everything 1/2" PVC. to and from the solar panel. I really want this system to be independent from the main pump/filter of the pool. I'm afraid I'm in over my head (ha ha) on choosing a pump for this application. Of course all the usual stuff applies - inexpensive, 110v, fractional hp, continous duty, long life etc. Water temperature should be in the 70 to 80 degree range. Any recommendations?
