Log Cabin Construction Standards 1

I have a bit of an odd request. Does anyone know if there are any published guidlines for the design and construction of log cabins? I have a project to investigate the cause of some wall rotation and settlement issues.

Chapter 23 of the IBC does not specifically address these types of structures. I was hoping that there is some widely accepted guildines for these.
