Is there anyone else who has experienced that MathCad does not respond when you scroll with a Logitech mouse? (MX Revolution for example)

The sheet goes up and down, and you have to close the program...

You probably need to disable any and all acceleration functions, for both mouse and graphics.

Is this a typical MathCad problem? ...and why?

Am using MathCad 14 and a Logitech MX Revolution mouse. I have not had a problem such as you describe to date (touch wood).

Could it be the graphics card on my computer?

That's another chronic problem with MC. You need to disable hardware accel on the graphics.

This could be. I have a 256 MB Radeon X1300PRO.
I used this same mouse on an older computer, with no similar problems, until about 2 or 3 months ago, with a Radeon 7000, I think.
I would like to suggest you call PTC support on this, but my experience with them is like something out of a Simpson's episode. One suggestion, if you do call them, keep a record of everyone's name and phone number (or extension) for future reference. This may save hours on future calls.

The problems are often because mathcad is using some feature of the interface which was less well tested by the supplier and causes a 'crash'. Most of these interface devices are used for simple control (e.g. basic scrolling) and are well coded for that. When mathcad starts wanting to use it in different ways (e.g. zoom in/out if in a 3d graph) then the extra coding finds the problems.
The same goes for the OpenGL features used.

It is annoying though.

I am not a computer engineer, but the program crashes when I want to scroll, and when trying to create a 3D plot e.g.

That is correct.

And if I have understood correctly, there is no way to fix this?!
