Hello all,

I'm designing a heavy duty/High torque brushing/deburring unit with motor and pulley/belt assembly.

The motor is Baldor, 2HP, 1800 RPM, 7/8" dia shaft. Pulley designed at driver is 3" dia timing pulley, driven pulley is 4" dia timing, distance between them is 10" and H series timing belt.
The brushing wheel has 1/2" dia arbor hole.
I will need to select the pillow block or linear bearing. Wanted to design the one like in the attached picture.

Need a help in identify what kind of bearing is in attached picture, and other parts to be considered (Pulley with bushing etc). So that I can try to calculate and select the bearing, shaft and arbor.

Thanks in advance.

That appears to be a spindle. See

I would contact a spindle manufacturer or find a machine that is compatible with the requirements and see if that part is available from the maker.

Thank you @3DDave, Shall we able to achieve the same using two pillow block bearings or with a linear bearing?

What do you expect to improve by changing the design?

Hello @TugboatEng,

I'm design a similar unit for similar work pieces, but different dimensions. But I don't have that existing design details.

I'm also looking for the supplier reference for these parts.

Thank you.
