Hi
I'm looking for a high accurate distance sensor to detect very low movements. (0.1 to 200 micrometer).
It can be a light sensor or anything eles.
I want it to measuring very low material deflections.
Do u have any idea?

The auttocube sensors are looks good, but they are too big.
Do u khow smaller one?
Something like a board module?

Too big? The smallest is 4 mm diameter x 11.5 mm. Not sure how you could imagine anything smaller. A board module would be much bigger than that/

TTFN (ta ta for now)
I can do absolutely anything. I'm an expert! faq731-376 forum1529 Entire Forum list

IR, the page you link to shows just the (large) control box, not the (small) sensor that's attached to it... perhaps that's the confusion?

May be you right. And It can suitable for my need.
I have one more question
What about hall effect sensors?
Can they measure micro movements?
I should put it in maximum 10x10mm space.
