Hello all,

I have been looking long for a ASME Y14.5 Book with comprehensive example or illustration interpretations included, I have seen this sort of book before on a certain website, But know I failed to search such kind of book, Could someone do me favor in telling me where can purchase it on internet or infrom me book names...(the reason I need it because I find myself a little difficult to fully understand ASME interpretatioins, I thought example/illustration is helpful for it)? I know this is not a topic for this forum, However I can only find this way for seeking help.

your help would be appreciated.
Best Regards!

"Wildfires are dangerous, hard to control, and economically catastrophic."
"Fixed in the next release" should replace "Product First" as the PTC slogan.

The book I keep at my desk as a reference for GD&T is

Fundamentals of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing by Alex Krulikowski ISBN: 0827379951

It's the same book I used in college, but it has served me well for the majority of my GD&T needs. For anything else I ususally need to reference the ASME standard directly (or I pick the brain of one of the other engineers over a coffee).

Tick,

I'm glad you said that one...

I found some pretty easy here:

When they broke open molecules, they found they were only stuffed with atoms. But when they broke open atoms, they found them stuffed with explosions...

I ordered a book recently. Don't do drafting, but sometimes have to interpret call-outs for surface finishes, etc.

For something value-priced (list $42 but I got a new one for $5 + shipping), try
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (REVISED) by David A. Madsen, 351 pages, ISBN: 1566375371 (1999):
