I am looking for a fastener slide computer. Its one of those things that has windows in the outside cover and you slide the inside piece to the desired item and read off the relevent information. I am looking for one for fasteners. For example, you line up #10 and it shows the thread O.D., the tap drill, the head size for various screw types and other relavent information. Thanks.

I have one that I use on a daily basis (at least when I can my co-worker from taking it!). It is great. Unfortunately I inherited it from a retiring engineer, but here is the info printed on it and maybe they are still in business:
Try Holo-Krome Co., W. Hartford Connecticut 06110, 203-523-5235, division of Western Pacific Industries. They also had an address in Anaheim, CA, 4890 E. LaPalma Ave., 92807. I hope they're still around, I obtained this over ten years ago. This one was for socket head cap screws, flat head socket cap screws, button head socket cap screws, low head socket cap screws, shoulder screws, and socket set screws. I don't know if they had others for different types of fasteners. It was available for either metric or unified inch series.

Thanks JEFF1. I have an old, worn out TAD Universal Reference Calculator. I have used this since 1970. The company does not exist anymore.
I just ordered the standard and metric from Holo-Krome.
Thanks, again.
I bought a couple last year, like to never found them from Holo-Krome. The problem is it took about 10 different phone numbers and I have misplaced the correct one.

The one I have has this info on it:
Holo-Krome Company
The cost is $2.50 each, they will fax you a form you send with you cash, plus a small shipping charge. I bought 3 the last time. Great chart.
Part Number is: #99013
See ya,
Gentleman (and ladies, I hope),
TAD Products Corp. is still in business. They offer a pretty good selection and I feel helpless without my "Universal Reference Calculator" -- It includes a wealth of information on fasteners, roll pins, drilled holes, wire/sheet gauges, pipe threads, etc...
