Looking for insulation--LOW thermo conductivity

I'm trying to find an insulation with a thermal conductivity value of around 0.03 - 0.04 W/mK at around 575 K. So far the best I've found is at 0.06 - 0.07 W/mK.

Does anyone know of a company or place to search for such a material?

Melamine looks good at lower temps but the data sheet shows it topping out around 300 F. I'm looking for something that can withstand sustained temperatures of close to 600 F. I've checked into various types such as Roxul, Pyro-block, Kaowool, etc., and just can't seem to find the right stuff. Any other suggestions or ideas of where to check/whom to call?

I got a small sample of aerogel, 'solid smoke', which is supposed to be real good stuff.

What I haven't been able to get is a price for any quantity of it. To me, that implies that they haven't figured out how to make commercial quantities yet.

I had mineral wool around my heater (about 650 degC)but the organic binder started to be pyrolized and the smell was terrible. Now there is 10 times more expencive ceramic wool there and it is perfect.

To borgwiser,

The thermal conductivity of air at atmospheric pressure and 575K, is about 0.045 W/m.K. Thus, no insulation material based on containing locked atmospheric air would satisfy your requirement. Carbon dioxide and Helium, for example, have conductivity values that may suit you being lower than 0.04 W/m.K. And, of course, vacuum, as in a Dewar bottle. Whatever insulation you select it should better be based on a gas of low thermal conductivity at the selected temperature.

Quite interesting, thank you everyone.
ko99, I will be contacting this company first thing Monday morning. Thank you very much. If their claims are true and valid, this could be a very good thing.

Matweb.com has a pretty decent search, you might be able to find something there.
