Hi all,
I am looking for matching bolt size for a T-nut of 1/4-20 size. I guessed it was M6, but it gets a bit tighter after a couple of threads. Can someone please give me an idea of what could be the matching bolt size for this T-nut?

Thanks
Pranav

Is this a trick question?

You have a 1/4-20 nut, use a 1/4-20 bolt.

Yeah,
What are you trying to say? T-nuts have standard threads, they don't take any sort of special bolt.

If your bolt gets tighter after a few threads, you may have mismatched nuts and bolts.

yes, I wanted to ask the equivalent metric size bolt since the bumper with the bolt are available in metric sizes. Just missed that part in the question.

It doesn't work that way. 1/4-20 is 1/4-20 and M6 is M6. There's no "equivalent" thread between metric and imperial. Buy the right bolt.
